Family Paralegal
Job Description
A specialist family law firm is seeking a highly organised and empathetic Family Paralegal to support solicitors and partners across a broad range of family and matrimonial matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about family law, looking to develop their skills within a supportive and reputable team.
Key Responsibilities:
— Assisting with a range of family law matters including divorce, financial remedy, pre/post-nuptial agreements, and child arrangements
— Drafting court forms, statements, and correspondence
— Preparing court bundles and managing key deadlines
— Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and court officials
— Conducting legal research and assisting in case preparation
— Providing general administrative and legal support to fee earners
Candidate Requirements:
— Law degree (or equivalent) required; LPC/SQE preferred
— Previous experience or strong interest in family law
— Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
— Excellent written and verbal communication
— Ability to handle sensitive and emotional matters with discretion and empathy
— Competent with Microsoft Office and case management systems
