Wills & Probate Solicitor
Job Description
A well-established London firm is looking for a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join its growing Private Client department. The role offers an excellent opportunity to handle high-quality non-contentious work, advising individuals and families on estate planning, probate, and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
— Drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
— Administering estates from start to finish, including probate applications
— Advising on inheritance tax planning and asset protection
— Liaising with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and financial institutions
— Keeping up to date with changes in private client law and HMRC guidance
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years PQE in private client law
— Strong experience in wills, probate, and estate administration
— Excellent attention to detail and client care skills
— Strong written and verbal communication
— STEP qualification or working towards it (preferred but not essential)
