Family Solicitor
Job Description
A highly respected London-based law firm is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Solicitor to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of privately funded family law matters, often involving high-net-worth individuals and complex financial issues.
Key Responsibilities:
— Advising clients on divorce, financial remedy, and separation agreements
— Managing private children law matters, including contact, residence, and relocation cases
— Drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
— Negotiating financial settlements and dealing with disclosure and asset tracing
— Representing clients at court and instructing counsel when necessary
— Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
— Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties with professionalism and discretion
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–6 years PQE in family law
— Experience managing a caseload of privately funded family matters
— Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and procedure (FPR, Children Act, Matrimonial Causes Act)
— Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
— Empathetic, client-focused, and commercially aware
— Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
