Head of Conveyancing

An established and ambitious property law firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop its busy residential and commercial conveyancing teams. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the strategy, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional client service within a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
— Leading and managing a team of conveyancers, fee earners, and support staff to achieve business objectives
— Overseeing all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
— Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
— Driving business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
— Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML and risk management policies
— Managing budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics
— Collaborating closely with partners, senior management, and other departments

Candidate Requirements:
— Proven experience in a senior conveyancing management role, ideally as a Head of Conveyancing or Team Leader
— Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial property law
— Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
— Demonstrable track record of managing complex conveyancing workflows and achieving business targets
— Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
— Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
— Proficiency with conveyancing software and case management systems
