Private Client Solicitor
Job Description
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding Private Client team. The successful candidate will advise high-net-worth individuals and families on a wide range of estate planning, tax, and succession matters.
Key Responsibilities:
— Advising on wills, trusts, and probate administration
— Handling estate planning, including tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies
— Drafting wills, powers of attorney, and trust documents
— Administering estates and managing probate applications
— Advising on inheritance tax and related tax planning
— Providing guidance on lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications
— Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–7 years PQE in private client law
— Experience advising high-net-worth individuals on estate planning and probate matters
— Strong drafting, communication, and client management skills
— Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
— STEP qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential
— Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
