Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Job Description
A reputable property law firm is seeking a capable and client-focused Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy conveyancing team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring smooth and timely completions.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
— Advising clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing law and procedure
— Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage documents, and related paperwork
— Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to progress transactions efficiently
— Ensuring compliance with AML and other regulatory requirements
— Managing deadlines and ensuring timely completion of transactions
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years PQE in residential conveyancing
— Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing practice
— Excellent organisational and time management skills
— Strong communication and client service skills
— Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines
— Proficient in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office
