Private Client Solicitor
Job Description
A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor to join its respected Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, on a range of estate planning and wealth management matters.
Key Responsibilities:
— Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
— Advising on inheritance tax, estate planning, and asset protection
— Administering estates from initial instruction to final distribution
— Assisting with Court of Protection applications and deputyship matters
— Managing relationships with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
— Keeping up to date with legal and tax developments relevant to private client work
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–6 years PQE in private client law
— Experience handling a range of wills, probate, and estate administration matters
— Strong client care and communication skills, particularly with sensitive matters
— Excellent drafting, technical, and organisational abilities
— STEP qualification or working towards it is preferred, but not essential
— Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
