Commercial Property Solicitor
Job Description
A respected and growing law firm is seeking a driven Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE to work on a broad range of commercial property transactions — acting for developers, landlords, tenants, investors, and business owners.
Key Responsibilities:
— Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, and leases of commercial premises
— Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, agreements for lease, and ancillary documents
— Managing freehold and leasehold transactions — from instruction through to completion
— Handling property aspects of secured lending and refinancing transactions
— Conducting title investigations, due diligence, and reviewing searches and planning documents
— Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently
— Keeping up to date with changes in commercial property law and practice
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial property
— Solid experience handling a variety of commercial property matters with minimal supervision
— Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills
— Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities
— Confident communicator — able to build rapport with clients and external contacts
— Proactive, commercially minded, and capable of managing multiple matters concurrently
