Role & Responsibilities
— Lead the Company Commercial / Corporate department
— Handle complex transactional work including M&A, restructurings, and contract drafting
— Mentor junior lawyers and support professional development within the team
— Actively participate in business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
— Maintain and grow strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio
— Prepare technically demanding documents such as sale and purchase agreements
— Demonstrate a commercially minded and client-first approach
— Support strategic planning and contribute to departmental growth

Requirements
— Qualified Solicitor with 4–5+ years\\\' PQE in Corporate or Commercial Law
— Proven experience in mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and contract law
— Strong leadership and team development capabilities
— Commercial awareness and ability to attract and retain high-quality clients
— Sound understanding of the Companies Act 2006 and UK contract law
— Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
— Well-organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload
— Confident in using legal tech and modern case management systems
