Job Description
A reputable and expanding law firm is seeking a dedicated Clinical Negligence Solicitor — Executive Grade C to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-value clinical negligence claims — providing expert advice and support to clients affected by medical negligence.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction to settlement or trial
— Conducting detailed case assessments, gathering evidence, and liaising with medical experts
— Drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, and other case documents
— Negotiating settlements and representing clients at mediations and court hearings
— Maintaining excellent client care — particularly when dealing with sensitive and distressing matters
— Keeping abreast of relevant case law, procedural rules, and changes in clinical negligence practice
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) — Executive Grade C or equivalent experience in clinical negligence
— Proven experience managing a range of clinical negligence cases independently
— Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
— Excellent communication skills — with a compassionate and client-focused approach
— Ability to manage a busy caseload and work under pressure
— Proficient in case management systems and able to maintain accurate records
