A busy and well-regarded law firm is seeking a reliable and organised Conveyancing Assistant to join its Residential Property team, with a focus on new build property transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in conveyancing — providing vital support to solicitors and legal executives handling a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
— Assisting with the preparation and progression of new build residential property transactions
— Liaising with developers, clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local authorities
— Managing client communications — providing updates and answering queries promptly
— Preparing and checking legal documentation — including contracts and forms
— Supporting the team with title investigations, searches, and post-completion matters
— Maintaining accurate records and managing files within case management systems
— Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements:
— Previous experience in residential conveyancing — ideally with exposure to new build property
— Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
— Excellent communication and client service skills
— Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning case management software
— Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage competing priorities
— Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn
