Family Law Legal Secretary
Job Description
A reputable law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Family Law Legal Secretary to join their team. This role supports solicitors within the Family Law department and involves preparing legal documents, managing client communication, and ensuring smooth day-to-day case handling.
Key Responsibilities:
— Draft and prepare legal documents such as court forms, statements, and correspondence
— Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate court dates
— Maintain and update case files and client records
— Handle incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
— Liaise with clients, courts, and other professionals
— Provide general administrative support to solicitors and the wider team
Ideal Candidate:
— Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within Family Law
— Strong typing and administrative skills
— Excellent written and verbal communication
— High level of discretion and professionalism
— Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
— Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
