Job Description

A well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property team. This role involves managing your own caseload of residential property transactions — including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities:
— Handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion
— Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
— Conducting title investigations, reviewing contracts, and managing enquiries
— Managing exchange and completion processes, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
— Keeping clients informed and delivering excellent customer service
— Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures

Candidate Requirements:
— Minimum 2 years’ experience managing residential conveyancing files independently
— Strong understanding of residential property law and conveyancing processes
— Excellent communication and organisational skills
— Proficient in using case management systems and digital tools
— Ability to manage multiple cases under pressure with attention to detail
