Job Description

A busy and reputable law firm is seeking an organised and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join its Residential Property team, specialising in new build property transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to support solicitors and legal executives handling new build sales and purchases — gaining valuable experience in a growing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
— Assisting with the progression of new build residential conveyancing transactions
— Liaising with developers, clients, mortgage lenders, and estate agents
— Preparing and checking legal documentation, contracts, and forms
— Managing client communications — providing updates and responding to queries promptly
— Supporting searches, title investigations, and post-completion processes
— Maintaining accurate case records and updating case management systems
— Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm requirements

Candidate Requirements:
— Previous experience in residential conveyancing — ideally with exposure to new build property transactions
— Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
— Effective communication and client service skills
— Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using case management software
— Ability to prioritise workload and work collaboratively within a team
— Enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop in conveyancing
