NQ Private Client Solicitor
Job Description
A respected and growing law firm is seeking a motivated NQ Private Client Solicitor with 1 to 2 years PQE to join its dynamic Private Client department. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills — working alongside experienced colleagues — advising a diverse client base on estate planning, wills, trusts, and wealth management matters.
Key Responsibilities:
— Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney under supervision
— Assisting with estate administration and probate processes
— Advising clients on inheritance tax, estate planning, and asset protection
— Supporting Court of Protection applications and deputyship matters
— Building strong client relationships with sensitivity and professionalism
— Keeping up to date with legal and tax developments relevant to private client work
— Contributing to team knowledge-sharing and learning initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 1 to 2 years PQE in private client law
— Experience handling a range of wills, probate, and estate administration matters
— Strong client care and communication skills — especially with sensitive issues
— Excellent drafting, organisational, and technical abilities
— Willingness to learn and develop in a supportive team environment
— STEP qualification or studying towards it is an advantage, but not essential
