Private Client Lawyer
Job Description
A reputable and expanding law firm is seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer with around 5 years’ experience to join its respected Private Client team. This role offers the chance to manage a broad and varied caseload — advising clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and wealth management.
Key Responsibilities:
— Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney tailored to client needs
— Advising on inheritance tax planning, estate administration, and asset protection
— Managing probate matters from instruction to completion
— Assisting with Court of Protection applications and deputyship cases
— Building strong client relationships through excellent communication and care
— Keeping abreast of legal and tax developments relevant to private client law
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with approximately 5 years’ PQE in private client law
— Proven experience handling a diverse range of private client matters
— Strong drafting, client care, and organisational skills
— Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
— STEP qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential
