Experienced Family Lawyer
Job Description
A well-established and client-focused law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its busy Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of private family law matters — including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and domestic abuse cases.
Key Responsibilities:
— Providing expert advice and representation in family law matters
— Managing cases from instruction through to resolution — including court hearings and mediations
— Drafting legal documents such as consent orders, applications, and statements
— Handling both private and legal aid funded cases
— Offering sensitive and compassionate client care
— Keeping up to date with changes in family law legislation and case law
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with substantial experience in family law
— Proven track record managing complex family law cases
— Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills
— Excellent communication and client management abilities
— Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
— Experience with legal aid work is desirable but not essential
