Senior Property Lawyer
Job Description
A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a highly capable Senior Property Lawyer to lead on complex property transactions and support the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property specialist to take on a senior role — offering expertise across both residential and commercial property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing high-value and complex property transactions — both residential and commercial
— Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, development agreements, and refinancing
— Providing technical guidance and support to junior fee earners and assistants
— Drafting and reviewing legal documents — including contracts, leases, transfers, and reports on title
— Ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of client service across all files
— Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents, and third-party professionals
— Contributing to departmental development and business growth
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 7+ years’ PQE in property law
— Proven experience in handling complex residential and/or commercial property matters
— Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills
— Confident managing a full caseload with minimal supervision
— Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is desirable
— Excellent communication, organisational, and client care skills
