Property Lawyer
Job Description
A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Property Lawyer to join its busy and collaborative property team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload — across residential and commercial property matters — with strong support and room for development.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing a caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions from instruction to completion
— Advising clients on sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold matters, transfers, and re-mortgages
— Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and title documentation
— Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
— Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and firm policies
— Keeping accurate records using case management systems
— Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the department
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with experience in property law
— Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
— Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
— Excellent communication, drafting, and organisational skills
— Client-focused approach with a commitment to high service standards
— Experience in both residential and commercial property is advantageous
