Property Lawyer
Job Description
A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking a capable and motivated Property Lawyer to join its busy property team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload — including residential and/or commercial transactions — with strong prospects for development in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing a caseload of property matters from instruction to completion
— Advising clients on sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold issues, remortgages, and transfers of equity
— Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and title documents
— Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties throughout the transaction
— Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
— Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
— Supporting junior team members and contributing to departmental goals
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with experience in property law
— Comfortable managing files independently with minimal supervision
— Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
— Excellent communication and organisational skills
— Proficient in using case management systems and digital tools
— Client-focused with a professional and proactive attitude
