Senior Property Lawyer
Job Description
A highly regarded and progressive law firm is seeking a skilled Senior Property Lawyer to join its established property team. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to manage complex transactions — while playing a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting strategic growth within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
— Handling a broad range of complex property matters — including high-value residential and commercial transactions
— Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, development, and landlord and tenant matters
— Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and related legal documentation
— Supporting and supervising junior lawyers, paralegals, and conveyancing assistants
— Maintaining compliance with legal, professional, and regulatory standards
— Building and maintaining long-term client relationships through excellent service
— Contributing to departmental strategy and business development initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 7+ years’ PQE in property law
— Proven experience managing complex residential and/or commercial property files
— Strong technical knowledge with exceptional attention to detail
— Confident in supervising and mentoring junior team members
— Excellent communication, drafting, and client care skills
— Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
