Litigator
Job Description
A well-established law firm is seeking a confident and experienced Litigator to join its Dispute Resolution team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload — including civil and commercial litigation matters — in a supportive, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
— Handling a diverse caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
— Advising clients on disputes relating to contracts, property, debt recovery, and professional negligence
— Drafting legal documents — including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
— Managing court procedures, disclosure, and settlement negotiations
— Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings as required
— Ensuring compliance with court rules, deadlines, and professional standards
— Building strong client relationships and supporting business development activities
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid litigation experience
— Strong understanding of civil procedure rules and litigation process
— Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
— Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
— Strong communication and organisational skills
— Commercial awareness and a practical, problem-solving approach
