Job Description
A well-established and dynamic law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Property Lawyer to join its thriving property team. This role offers the chance to lead on complex residential and commercial property matters — while mentoring junior staff and helping shape the department’s future.
Key Responsibilities:
— Managing a varied caseload of high-value and complex property transactions
— Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, and development projects
— Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and related legal documents
— Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff
— Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards
— Building and maintaining strong client relationships
— Contributing to business development and strategic initiatives within the department
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 7+ years PQE in property law
— Proven ability to manage complex residential and commercial property cases independently
— Strong technical knowledge and exceptional drafting skills
— Experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members
— Excellent communication, client care, and organisational abilities
— Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
