Conveyancing Legal Assistant
Job Description
A reputable law firm is looking to recruit a diligent Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join its busy residential property team. This role provides excellent exposure to the conveyancing process — supporting solicitors and conveyancers throughout property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
— Assisting with residential property transactions — including sales, purchases, and remortgages
— Preparing and checking legal documents, forms, and correspondence
— Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
— Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems
— Scheduling and managing appointments and deadlines
— Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Candidate Requirements:
— Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role preferred but not essential
— Good organisational skills and attention to detail
— Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
— Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
— Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
