A reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Trainee Archivist / Legal Cashier. This is a full-time position offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a legal finance and document management environment.

Overview:
This dual-role position is ideal for someone starting their career in the legal sector, with interests in both financial processes and records/archive management. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and support to develop the skills needed for long-term growth within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
— Assist with the accurate recording and archiving of legal documents
— Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems
— Support the Legal Cashier with day-to-day financial transactions
— Help ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and internal procedures
— Process invoices, receipts, and petty cash under supervision
— Liaise with colleagues across departments to locate, retrieve, or store files
— Assist with administrative duties and ad-hoc office support

Requirements:
— Good organisational and numerical skills
— Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
— Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
— Ability to work in a methodical and confidential manner
— A team player with a proactive attitude
— No prior legal or finance experience required – training provided
