Job Description
A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join their property team. This role is suitable for a solicitor with over 10 years’ post-qualification experience, looking to handle a diverse and high-value portfolio of commercial property matters.
Overview:
The successful candidate will advise clients on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects across Leeds, Bradford, and Knaresborough.
Key Responsibilities:
— Manage and lead complex commercial property transactions
— Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to a diverse client base
— Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
— Liaise with clients, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders
— Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development
— Support business development initiatives and client relationship management
— Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies
Requirements:
— Qualified solicitor with 10+ years PQE in commercial property law
— Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions
— Proven ability to manage large and complex caseloads independently
— Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
— Commercially aware and able to provide practical legal solutions
— Leadership experience and a collaborative team approach
