Deputy Head of Residential Conveyancing

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Head of Residential Conveyancing to support the leadership of their residential conveyancing team. Overview:
The successful candidate will oversee residential property transactions, lead and mentor team members, and ensure high standards of client service and compliance within the conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities:
— Manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion
— Support the Head of Conveyancing in team management and operational duties
— Provide expert legal advice to clients on residential property transactions
— Mentor and train junior solicitors and conveyancers
— Monitor workflow, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage risk
— Assist with business development and client relationship management
— Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the team

Requirements:
— Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with significant experience in residential conveyancing
— Strong leadership and team management skills
— Excellent knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing processes
— Proven ability to manage complex cases and mentor junior staff
— Strong communication and client service skills
