Residential Conveyancer

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join their property team, with flexibility to be based in either Winchester or London. This is a great opportunity for a conveyancing professional to handle a varied caseload in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Overview:
The successful candidate will manage a full range of residential property transactions, delivering efficient and high-quality service to clients from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
— Handle a caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, leaseholds, and transfers of equity
— Provide clear legal advice and regular updates to clients
— Draft and review contracts, reports, and supporting documents
— Liaise with clients, agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
— Ensure all transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements
— Maintain accurate records and use case management systems effectively
— Contribute to a positive team culture and support junior colleagues when needed

Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with residential conveyancing experience
— Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and practice
— Excellent communication and client care skills
— Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
— Well-organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
— Familiarity with conveyancing software and Microsoft Office

Location: Winchester or London
