A respected law firm in Slough is seeking a skilled and proactive Residential Conveyancer to join their property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional to manage a varied caseload in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Overview:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for handling all aspects of residential property transactions, ensuring a smooth process from instruction through to completion while delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
— Manage a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold, and freehold matters
— Draft and review contracts, title documents, and reports
— Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other legal professionals
— Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and firm requirements
— Maintain accurate case records using the firm’s case management system
— Provide regular updates and clear communication to clients throughout the transaction process
— Support junior team members and contribute to team development as needed
Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with proven residential conveyancing experience
— Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing law and procedure
— Excellent communication and client care skills
— Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
— Proficient in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office
— Detail-oriented, well-organised, and proactive
