Overview:
The successful candidate will assist fee earners and solicitors with the day-to-day running of conveyancing files, ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
— Provide administrative support on residential conveyancing matters
— Open and maintain client files, both paper and electronic
— Draft initial letters, forms, and documents under supervision
— Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
— Order searches and assist in preparing contract packs
— Update clients on file progress and respond to basic queries
— Ensure all documentation is filed and recorded accurately
— Support the team in managing deadlines and workflow
Requirements:
— Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing support role preferred
— Strong organisational and time-management skills
— Good written and verbal communication
— Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
— Competent using Microsoft Office and legal software systems
— A team player with a professional, client-focused approach
