Job Description
A well-regarded law firm is looking to recruit a capable and experienced Residential & Commercial Property Lawyer to join its growing property team. This role offers the chance to work on a broad mix of residential and commercial property matters for a diverse client base, including individuals, developers, and businesses.
Overview:
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload across residential conveyancing and commercial property transactions, delivering practical legal advice and exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities:
— Handle residential sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold/freehold transactions
— Advise on commercial leases, landlord and tenant matters, and property acquisitions/disposals
— Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and associated legal documents
— Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title documents and searches
— Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, and other legal professionals
— Ensure all transactions are completed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements
— Support business development and contribute to departmental growth
Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
— Solid experience in both residential and commercial property law
— Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
— Ability to manage files independently and work under pressure
— Excellent communication and client relationship skills
— Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office
