A well-regarded law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy residential property department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor to manage a varied caseload in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Overview:
The successful candidate will handle all aspects of residential conveyancing, providing high-quality legal advice and excellent client service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
— Manage a caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, leaseholds, and transfers of equity
— Draft and review legal documents such as contracts and title reports
— Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
— Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
— Keep clients updated throughout each stage of their transaction
— Use legal case management systems to maintain accurate records
— Support the team and contribute to business development where appropriate
Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing
— Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
— Excellent client care and communication skills
— Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
— Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
— Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office
