Job Description
A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Solicitor to join its busy disputes team. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor to manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
— Handling a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from pre-action to trial and settlement
— Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents
— Advising clients on litigation strategy and case management
— Conducting legal research and preparing advice letters
— Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
— Managing case progression and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified Solicitor with experience in civil and/or commercial litigation
— Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
— Excellent communication and client care abilities
— Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
— Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
— Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems
