Partner – Insolvency (Contentious and Non-Contentious)
Job Description
An ambitious law firm is seeking a high-calibre Partner to lead its Insolvency offering across both contentious and non-contentious matters. The role offers a platform to build a thriving practice with strong cross-departmental support.
Key Responsibilities:
— Advising insolvency practitioners, creditors, corporates, and directors on all aspects of insolvency
— Handling complex insolvency litigation including misfeasance claims, preferences, and wrongful trading
— Leading transactional insolvency work such as restructuring, CVAs, and administrations
— Building and developing a high-performing insolvency team
— Driving client engagement and business development initiatives
— Collaborating with corporate, banking, and dispute resolution teams
Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 10+ years PQE in insolvency law
— Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
— Established market profile and/or client following
— Entrepreneurial approach and desire to grow a practice
— Proven team leadership and strategic thinking skills
