Job Description

A forward-thinking UK law firm is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional to manage a caseload from home, with the support and resources of an established practice.

Key Responsibilities:
— Handling a full caseload of residential property matters from instruction to post-completion
— Managing sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold/freehold transactions, transfers of equity, and new builds
— Conducting title checks, drafting and reviewing contracts, and raising/responding to enquiries
— Preparing completion statements and ensuring timely progression of files
— Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
— Ensuring strict compliance with regulatory, AML, and firm procedures
— Maintaining accurate file records using a digital case management system

Candidate Requirements:
— Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with 2+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing
— Proven ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
— Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, SDLT, and Land Registry requirements
— Excellent communication and client-care skills, comfortable handling matters virtually
— Technically proficient with experience using online case management systems
— Self-disciplined, well-organised, and able to thrive in a remote working environment
